OK, time for a better comment.

I went back and read everything again, because I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything, and discovered I had missed a few things...

#1) I think HyunJoong's guards know the King better than he does. In fact, I think most of the kingdom knows more about the King than his own son.

#2) There is some kind of connection between YoungSaeng and HyunJoong. Not sure just what it is yet, but YoungSaeng knows its there, and it bothers him.

#3) Having read this again, I think I feel even worse for HyunJoong and how all of his beliefs and everything he thinks he knows about the world is changing and shifting. I have a feeling that before this is all over, the world will be nothing like what he thought it was, and perhaps HE won't be quite what he thought he was, either.

#4) Just a thought... I know that 'Dragon Prince' is supposed to be some kind of a title for HyunJoong, but... I get the impression that in some ways, it could just as easily apply to YoungSaeng.

I can't really reply to any of your specific points because if I do I will probably end up giving a whole bunch of stuff away. I really enjoyed reading them though, and they told me exactly how well I doing my job so thank you for telling them to me. ^_^
