Excuse me as I try to hold down "lupper"
I am currently on my "lunch" break at work (what I affectionately call "lupper", due to the hour at which I eat it). And I was just in the break room watching MSNBC while eating. I think I'm going to be sick now.
Hamilton County, Indiana is prosecuting an 18-year old girl for statutory rape, for having sex with a 15-year old boy that she goes to school with. If convicted, she'll be facing an 8-year sentence and being labeled as a "sexual predator" for the rest of her life (and all of the registration with the cops, restrictions on where she can live and what jobs she can hold that that label entails).
Man...this country has messed up priorities. Stupid age-of-consent laws.
