I loved all those comments that were left on my last entry. they were beautiful. hahaha. Anyways, so its finally summer!!!! and i'm OUT of Northwest Forever!!! going on to bigger and better places. hopefully to find some new people that are actually not fake and immature. hmmm yea so anyways. So far this summer i've just been chillen at the pool or going up to the lake. then June 23 is my Carolina orientation, July 2-16 i'm going to Smith Mountain Lake with all my favorite people, and then the end of July i'm going to Georgia. i'm excited. Aight here are some things i've learned from highschool.
1) Even if you think your bestfriends will always be there, they won't
2) Your girls will not understand everything, so don't expect them to.
3) Girls with boyfriends will always pick their boy over you. Even if the two of you have known each other for most of your lives.
4) If you make one massive mistake, sometimes you will never be forgiven.
5) no matter what you do or how you act, people WILL talk shit about you. but who cares?? its not their life its yours.
6) In highschool, everyone goes out every night, and never sees their family. but these are your last moments that they will be around all the time. so make it worth it
7) Never underestimate the power of your brother or your sister. haha. they can get you through anything.
8) Age doesnt matter.
9) Life is about mistakes, so if you fuck up big time, then pick yourself up and move on. believe me, i've made alot of mistakes and done some stupid shit in highschool. but you just have to keep going and be stronger from it.
10) Remember this is highschool. So don't expect people to act like mature adults. They will be dramatic and they will more than likely not see things clearly. Thats why i suggest everyone should have taken Ms. Little's AP English class...then you will understand the important things.
11) Some friends aren't really your friends. but two wrongs doesn't make a right
12) Don't expect people to see things from your point of view, they are too self absorbed right now to try to understand. No matter what you do. if you fuck up majorly, they won't give you a break. and they will never forgive and forget.
13) Friends that critize you and the person that you are aren't true friends. They may say they are helping you but if they tell you that you have been a bad friend then move on and find people that do actually love you.
14) For highschool girls, here is their priorities: 1. to get a boyfriend 2. to make their boy happy....yea anyways basically most the time the bestfriend comes last. The boyfriends first. so don't expect them to hang out with you if they are always with their boy toy. even if you confront them. they won't see that they do, say, and think everything that their guy wants them to.
15) It takes two people to have drama.
16) And finally just have fun. don't worry about all the crazy rumors about you. and how people view you. You should know who you are. and if they don't see that side then its their lose not yours. There are alot of closeminded people at NW so don't trust them.
ha. wow some of those were corny. but i just felt like writing some stuff down. anyways, i know that i violated alot of those things in High School but at least I learned from it. Unfortunately some people will never change and will never stand back and actually look at themselves. If you leave a nasty comment on here. then you are probably one of those people that i feel sorry for.
