I am moving - again. Or actually I should say we're moving, with A-J. I already love the flat, it's a lot smaller than this one we have in Huittinen (this is 58m^2), only 38m^2. Okay, it's in Tampere and if we were to keep this size an apartment there, it would mean the rent would at least double. I won't be able to squeeze all of my stuff there, so I'm giving my sofa and computer table away :0 The furniture I've borrowed from my parents will be happily storaged again in the barn of my cousins', in case Päivi allows that to happen. You never know when it's up to her (lol).
And now, I'm going to rant about how much I love the new flat! It's not mine yet since we haven't signed the contract ('cause the owner of the apartment is on his summer vacation and my father is afraid to bother him, damn them!), but I already have a key. We've been cleaning there with my mom, and even though there is yet much work to be done, at least the living room and the windows are shiny and clean~ We will start paying the rent from August 1st... And after that, I will be a citizen of Tampere, once again :P
But back to the adorable-ness of the flat... It was love on first sight. It's bright, just one and half kilometres to the school I will be attending to - a walking distance to the center, and best of all - NO NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOURS. Our only neighbour will be living right below us.
And the yard... There is a small, but shady, very pretty and very very green garden just below our balcony. There is a tiny gate from which you have to enter the yard, it's just so romantic. There was a lady reading a book under a tree when I walked by for the first time, and the surroundings felt friendly and comfortable... Not scary at all, which is good when living in a "big" city.
When you enter the flat, just to your left is the shower room and if you walk trough it, a sauna. Very tiny one, I tell you.. It's for two persons of my size (normal size) or for only one if you're big xD To the right is the WC (with a window :D). And straight ahead you can see the living room, from which is seperated alcove-like bedroom... There's no door to it, nor a wall, but there is a curtain-like whatchacallit which you can pull and "close" the room. Then there's the small kitchen, in which you can't dine, so the dining table must be placed in living room. And the best of all: there is a goddamn dishwashing machine!! I'm so lazy to wash the dishes they are always dirty... This was the last piece that made my heart skip a few beats. MINE! >: D (hopefully)
I just need the contract done with and then I'm happy ^_^
I seem to have a love-hate relationship towards moving. It's very time consuming, tiring, boring and frustrating, but at the same time delighting (I get to decorate!), a fresh start and a new opportunity to finally show people I CAN keep my flat tidy (he-he)
I got also good news today. In the line of taking students in to the program A-J applied to, he is 101th, and they took the first 100 in. So he's first in line if people cancel... At least 21 should, and then he's in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him. It would be so easy if he got in and is able to start his studies right after he's freed from his military service.
....I guess that's it.
