Ship Meme and Character Notes for Politically Correct Relations
Ganked off of..... somewhere. I don't quite remember. But it seemed like it would be fun. Besides, I need to get in touch with my inner fangirl again. :P
Ship Meme
1. Comment with any ship from a fandom that you know I like, or at least have some knowledge about.
2. I will ramble for 100 words about aforementioned ship. This may be incoherent gushing or exclamations of disgust, depending on what it is.
3. Put this on your LJ, if you are so inclined.
In my case, the fandoms would be PoT, GW, Bleach, YnM, Saiyuki, Count Cain (and most other Kaori Yuki's works), Hanakimi, Ragnarok, PMSI/PKM, Clover, Angelic Layer, X, HxH, Weiss Kreuz, Vampire Game....
Spent a good two hours doing more research for Politically Correct Relations and finally prodded myself to jot down character notes at the very least (otherwise I'd go insane with all the nitty-gritty details). Was productive. Rewrote a good portion of the first part and cranked out another page for the second. I'm very proud of myself actually; I somehow introduced Jophiel into the big picture.
Snippet: "What _did_ you do to him Lucifer? Last time I remember him being this disagreeable was when Michael Jackson's name mistakenly appeared on the 'Admitted' roster."
HELL
Samael (Satan): Blonde and blue-eyed, looks decidedly un-demonic but is really the poster boy for anger. Overlord of Hell but dumps all administrative duties onto Lucifer. Was a Seraphim before Descending in the same decade as Lucifer. Takes his job as the Antithesis of Heaven very seriously and likes to deal with mortals directly. Is very easily pissed off but can never get completely angry with Lucifer or Gabriel. Is jealous of God over something (confidential information ;D). Has a lot of nitpicks with the Vatican and certain Catholic dogmas. Continuously tries to find time to visit the clergy and get _something_ fixed. Sin: Wrath.
Lucifer: A Prince of Hell and ambassador-type . Used to view his duties to both Hell and Heaven with distaste but now is fond of his infernal colleagues (would never admit it though). Is responsible for keeping track of His Divinity's handiwork and meting out proper counters so that the cosmos doesn't blow up in everybody's faces. Has developed a liking for sarcasm and uses it on everybody, especially Michael. Gets along with Jophiel the most in Heaven and ?? in Hell. Despises Gabriel. Still very bitter that He isn't appreciative of his voluntary descent. Sin: Pride.
Belphegor: Is a slave-driver and generally feared? No sense of humor. Sin: Sloth.
Leviathan: A Duke of Hell. Secretary of the Navy. Favored corporal form is that of a very large crested serpent. Can take a human form though. Likes riling up Asmodeus. Is actually a true Fallen Angel (reason for Falling is undecided as of yet). Laidback. Sin: Envy.
Beezlebub: A Prince of Hell. Commander of Hell's Hordes. Thinks Michael is a know-it-all brat. Corporal form is human with insect wings. Also has nitpick with the church in that he technically prefers wasps over flies. Likes fine wine (and communion wine) and has a high tolerance for alcohol when visiting the human world. But when drunk, likes to hit on Asmodeus and Lucifer (has hit on Samael once but got skinned for his troubles). Sin: Gluttony
Mammon: A Prince of Hell. Sin: Avarice.
Asmodeus: Pixie-like in appearance. Manages over Hell's entertainment, appearance and all that other shinazz. Very narcissistic and has a temper second only to Samael. Has a personal space/blast radius of four hundred cubic-feet. Is referred to as "the pixie" by Lucifer. Commander of Hell's incubi and succubi. Sin: Lechery/Lust.
Astaroth: A Grand Duke of Hell. Hell's Treasurer and guidance counselor for his peers.
HEAVEN
Research led to finding out about all the angelic Orders and Choirs (all twelve of them @_@). Which in turn led to a massively splitting headache. The problem with some of the angels was how they were listed under MORE THAN ONE ORDER. OMGWTF. After going through this one site once, I was like, "Gabriel's everywhere! And so's Uriel! And Michael!...... wtf??" So I saddled each into one order to save my limited powers of comprehension.
Lucifer (dark/pale coloring. Antithesis of Michael): Former Archangel of Wisdom. First Born. Polar opposite to Michael, but shares certain personality traits with him. Order: Archangel/Former Head of the Cherubim.
Gabriel (albino coloring): Archangel of Purity and Heralding. Manages all divine revelations and other messages from god. Is very sweet and compassionate and is the epitome of "angelic." However, he can be rather underhanded and sly when he wants something done. Understands Lucifer's dislike for him so usually gets Michael to act as a middle person. Order: Archangel/Current Head of the Cherubim.
Raphael (green/wheat coloring): Archangel of Healing. Very practical with a dry wit. Order: Archangel/Cherubim.
Michael (red/copper/warm coloring): Archangel of War and Protection. Commanding General of Heaven's Host and Lucifer's archrival. Enjoys taunting Lucifer but also envies him for being First Born. Very close to Gabriel. Is very strict with his subordinates and is very calm when on duties. Has a quick temper though and doesn't like being toyed with. Will do almost anything for Gabriel short of disobeying God. Order: Archangel/Head of the Seraphim.
Uriel (darker complex, white hair) Archangel of Salvation and Ministration. Presides over the smooth runnings of Heaven's internal operations. Cool and always collected but can be ruthless when cracking down on problems. Dislikes leaving Heaven. Head administrator. Order: Archangel/Seraphim.
Jophiel (olive/hazel coloring): Archangel of Beauty and Wisdom. Duties consist of managing Heaven's appearance and decor. Is jokingly referred to as Heaven's interior designer by Lucifer and other ex-angels, but is actually quite scholarly. Very easy-going and is most modern (liberal?) out of all his colleagues aside from Michael and Lucifer. Think NNWD. Very close with Chamuel. Order: Archangel/Thrones.
Chamuel: Archangel of Love. Keeper of the Divine Gates. Controls all the Gates to Heaven and the admittance/rejection of souls. He has many pet peeves, one of which deals with where exactly his peers want Gates to be sent. No conventional/structured opening for his Gates equals uber peeved Chamuel. Order: Archangel/Virtue.
Zadkhiel (blond/violet coloring): Archangel of Mercy and Justice. Sent by God to deal with divine works gone wrong. Very stern and takes his work seriously. A bit anal-retentive as a whole. Order: Archangel/Dominion.
Details on Angelic Orders (that might be important?)
Seraphim: Belong to the First Order of the Second Choir. Closest to God. Characterized by six wings.
Cherubim: Belong to the Second Order of the Second Choir. They have the deepest insight into God's secrets. Much more active on earth. Characterized by four wings.
Dominion: Belong to the First Order of the Third Choir. Regulate activities of lower ranking angels as well as maintain the order of the cosmos.
Archangels: Liaisons between God and mankind. Technically belong to the Second Order of the Fourth Choir but certain individuals often belong to other Orders/Choirs. A term that is commonly used to define any angelic being ranked higher than ordinary angels.
Note to self: Hopefully will have time tonight to introduce Gabriel into picture... finish part 2 before end of next week? Need to have a talk with Lucifer-muse and hammer down hierarchal points.
