That particular dinner affair was formal, stilted, and hellishly scary when they discovered that Fuji had anticipated Atobe's choice and brought his own tube of wasabi.

i will bet a considerable sum of money that one of us ::points to herself, gummie, mei, ed, wai, ex, aa, and the rest:: will someday be that little old lady. one of us will have good enough karma to hit it big and live next to an OT5. this is my prediction.

I don't have a favorite line--too many good ones--but in the running is

In all seriousness, I best loved the logistics of the thing, your emphasis on the once in a green moon dinners together. Which means...nights might not be any more easily coordinated. Do I see something on the horizon? Perhaps. Anyways, that's what sold this for me--the logistics, and watching all five of them "deal" with them.

although at this point in life, calling any of them “sane” was of questionable judgment.
