[Art] SnK (Levi/Rivaille) + Personal Agenda Items
Listening to the bar review lecture for Family Law and while I'd been royally ticked off/bothered by his verbal tics (as I have been for practically 75% of the lecturers thus far), most of his anecdotes have been crude, innuendo filled, and actually quite hilarious.
Not much to say besides, graduation happened, that Las Vegas recap post won't be happening anytime soon, Shingeki no Kyojin is my escapist flavour of the summer and probably for some time thereafter (give me all the OP parodies, all the shit-jokes, all the height-jokes, all the inappropriate Titan-jokes, and my Recon Squad Leaders BrOT3+Erwin).
This is Rivaille/Levi. SnK is probably the only fandom where there's no consensus as to character name spellings even after the official spellings are released because the author didn't bother to let the rest of us know what he meant by his bloody katakana naming system when the first character profiles were published. Goddammit, Isayama.
This is still Rivaille/Levi and while in my heart of hearts he'll always be Rivaille, I'm beginning to see the appeal of the 4-lettered officially-recognised Levi... it's short(er). Just like him. 160cm of sassy BAMF, fuck yeah.
But anyway, the main point to this post is actually to give a heads-up to all my LJ flist Singapore peeps: Part of my post-bar trip will be in Singapore. I plan on being there for a week from the 16th to the 23rd-ish. Will be flying in from Shanghai. Already have plans to meet up with lady_androgene who's flying from the Philippines from the 17th to the 19th for a weekend long SnK induced sobfest/crackfest and god knows what else. If any of you guys will be there in the area during that period, let me know so I can stalk you just kidding, no stalking, but seriously. Let me know. (winku I am looking at you.)
I'd also appreciate if someone can help me figure out flight+hotel deals from Shanghai to Singapore. My contact in Shanghai isn't answering my emails... not surprising since it's been years since we last communicated, whoops. orz
