14-Man, I am a sucker for lovely cuts and shiny stones, THIS ONE MORE THAN SATISFIES MY NEED FOR GLITTERY THINGS.
15-It does look like an oxidized alloy of some sort, maybe something with copper?
16-Case in point for why garage/yard sales are your best friend!
17-Pretty much hit the nail on the head re: why you fall back on them so often. Clothes, and I guess I throw earrings under that category or the general idea behind the platitude so lol misnomers forever, (to a degree) make a person? Or at the very least shape how other people's impression of you. You probably have so much more experience with this than me though.

14) Ditto, word, yup.
15) Possibly. The brand, from what I can see, is very "native-american"-inspired. Grand canyon, "tribal" design-esque. I wouldn't be surprised if copper somehow found its way in there.
17) Most people don't bother with coordinating earrings beyond the whole "pearl studs for professional venues" bit. If anything, the impression of having non-standard earrings is usually that of "that's not pearl... but somehow looks alright?"
18) I LOEV OPALS DO YOU LOEV OPALS TOO?? lol Even if they come in after this meme ends, I'm going to somehow come up with a purely self-indulgent excuse to photograph them. XD

...huh really? If so then I'm MOST LIKELY overdoing it. When I have to make a first impression I coordinate the outfit by temperature, layers, colors, style, overall shape, and how appropriate it is for my intended audience. And I get really specific about it, too. orz

Opals are so PRETTY. I get really snobby about specific cuts though. xD
