Hey! I'm new to this fandom, and kinda returning to fandom in general after life drama pulled me out for several months (:/), so I thought that, as I was joining a new fandom and wanted to meet some people in it, why not start a friending meme

What else do you do around LJ?: Uh ... not much? Oh, I co-moderate the Idol kink meme, but that hasn't been very lively lately. And I have a book comm but ... also not lively - lol.
Approximate time in Sherlock fandom: Um. From whenever it showed on TV here. A month or two?
Other fandoms: Idol/Adam Lambert; X-Men RPF (sort of. If writing two McFass fics counts.) I read in H50 and Merlin sometimes too, when the mood strikes.

Favourite Sherlock character(s)? Ohhh ... Sherlock, I think. Why?: Because he's kind of ... damaged. Brilliant, blah blah blah but the damaged part (like in The Blind Banker when he looks so hurt when whatsisname tells Dr Watson that no one at uni liked Sherlock) fascinates me.
Favourite Sherlock quote(s) and/or scene(s)? "I'm in shock, look, I've got a blanket." Why?: I don't even know - lol
Ships?: I'm a multi-shipper but primarily J/S. Though I do love a good Lestrade-centric fic.

Any recs? Fics, vids, hilarious rants/reviews, etc?: Oh ... I never seem to bookmark anything and I don't have a delicious. I think I've recced a couple of things on my LJ so feel free to rummage ... /lazy
Anything else of note? Gifs, macros, funtimey jokes?: Two men walked into a bar. Second one said to the first: "So you didn't see it either." ER ... I tend not to save gifs/macros etc and that's the only joke I really remember ...

I'm totally with you on damaged!Sherlock; I find myself writing him that way a lot.

I don't know if it's out there, but I feel like there should be a fic that's set when Sherlock's at uni, and he's brilliant and all but incredibly lonely, so the deduction thing is like ... a defense mechanism almost. He finds it hard to make friends so instead of trying to he keeps everyone at arm's length by telling them who they shagged the night before, etc .... now I'm rambling
