It'sa new me! (metaphorically)
Here's a picture of the conquering hero! Sans nerd-glasses!
I felt I needed to take a picture of myself after the events of last post as if to say,
"This is Kaitlin B. Callahan. This is the portrait of a an artist. This is the portrait of a a future Calarts student. This is the picture of a future awesome person!"
I just look at photo of myself and I see all the things I been through before that photo, all the good things and bad things, some confusing things and some trialing things, but still mostly good things.
I feel like I've taken a new step in my life and this picture is a version of myself that I hope I'm stil familar with when I look back at it years from now when I've graduated:
A girl with a bright future, loving friends and family, and generally happy prospect on life.

I'm sorry my journal has been pretty dead lately and I'm gonna actually post some art on this blog again!
In my absence I finally purchased my own scanner for my desk and can scan and upload stuff lickety split!
Also, in a side note. I am really excited for this album to come out! I love Sigur Ros! (or Jonsi in this case) I get crazy inspired by his stuff :)
