Interesting choice, having him quote Nietzsche. In some ways Laura is an Overlord type -- she has, on many occasions, shown a less than overwhelming regard for virtues accepted by society. But though if Adama ever met this Laura he might be willing to be used, I doubt he is one of the ignorant slave-like masses, in any universe.

I like the way this mirrors the telephone calls which helped them get to know each other better early in the series, when greatness had been thrust upon Laura and Bill wasn't sure that she was up to the job; when the balance of power between them was tenuous.
It feels so right to have the two of them awake and talking, thinking deeply while most people sleep. Bill and Laura, always drawn to one another, each the voice in the darkness the other needs.
