Love this. Love it. Especially the line about Saul's utter, complete faith in Bill, no matter what. Also the abrupt change in pace to echo the sensation of being caught reading something you shouldn't! Laura is remarkably calm here about Saul being a Cylon, but she never really seemed to care in canon, either, did she? Like you say, 'it’s not what he is that matters. It’s who he is'.

Ah. you did awesome. And it's interesting that the revelation that he's a cylon didn't change Saul(unlike stupid Tory), it made him even more... Well, Saul, I guess.

Loved that Bill is moral enough to feel guilty but honest enough to confess. Deep piece in three hundred words.

You rock.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. How you do so much in so few words is beyond me.

LOVE THIS!! Right from the perfect title to every word. The journal entries are so Laura. I can hear her saying saying these as she writes them. I think she would have been tortured more by hearing those around her being hurt, especially Saul. I love how you brought it back to Bill and how much Saul believed in him, so she should too. Such a great moment!!

I swear I could hear Bill slamming that book shut. I love how she's not upset at him reading it. Great last lines, yes it's who he is and who he's always been, Bill's best friend. I have to admit I teared up at the end. Wonderful work!! One of your best!! :)
