Great that you picked this one for the sequel challenge, I love this little universe.

The coffee here tastes like algae.”

“Jake?”

“I really loved that dog.”

I love all these little refrences.

I seem to have acquired a fan base with this a/u. I think it's gonna be my 'main squeeze' for sequels. The people demand it. That & that damn little Puss n' Boots icon mibehl uses kills me.

So happy you love the universe. : )

“It’s not exactly a babe magnet.”

“I wear it to keep them at bay.”

Oh, Bill, honey, it's so nice to meet a confident man.

Part of my challenge is to see how I can weave canon into the a/u.

Bill is such a ladies man. *snort*

It is interesting that so many of us chose to write sequels to our AU fics, not to mention gratifying since that AU challenge threw up so many intriguing new worlds and gave us all a great deal of fun.

Once again you have managed to skilfully blend canon into this very different scenario keeping the characters recognisable and integrating the familiar lines of dialogue so cleverly all the while cramming in plenty of backstory and progressing the plot and character relationships in just 300 words.

This really is very well done. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

I was not/am not a fan of the a/u challenge/universe. But what a sweet little deal the a/u & the sequel challenge have been. Now I actually hope there will be more since you are right--so many people did create them & I, too, want all the stories to continue. My goal is to weave canon into my story & keep the a/u Adama & Roslin true to their original characters. If I jump the track, they become unrecognizable. It's that 100, 200 & 300 word restriction that can be a killer. Especially since technically each installment must stand alone.

Having great fun creating as I go.

You are most welcome & thanks for always reading.
