BURN!

I love it. It's painful. The last line is killer.

Oh. yeah. These two are totally on fire. Hopeless. Painful. Raw. Sometimes reality can be brutal. The last line needed to be the real scorcher. Thanks for burning with me.

Love this!! "Bill Adama was no tailor". What a perfect line for Bill. Always trying to put everything and everyone back together and can't. Enough to drive one to drink, eh? Wonderful angsty drabble!! Great work!!

I LOVE the line you picked out! Yes, Bill always wants to fix the situation. Maybe part of why he drinks is because he can't...

Ouch!

This is where a "Laura Roslin is not in the mood to indulge your bullshit" icon would be appropriate.

Then again, so would a "Bill Adama is not in the mood to indulge your bullshit" icon, because he spent far too much time putting up with everyone's whiny-ass BS, including Laura's "I'm dying, so I'm special, even though I'll make it further than about 75% of the other characters" attitude.

Adama & Roslin are quite the pair, aren't they? They certainly feed & play off of each other.

Neither can bullshit a bullshitter.

This is a painfully accurate assessment of the situation. However hard he tries, Bill cannot hold everything together, all the things he loves, all his certainties ripped away from him until he too starts to fall apart.

He's had enough, Laura's had enough and they are brutally blunt but somehow they are still clinging to each other, however tenuously. She can't abandon him to the drinking any more than he can abandon her to the cancer.

Beautifully done. The short sentences really punch the grim points home. Thank you.

Wow. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record I'm sure but WOW u have a way with words. KILLER last line and a drabble that totally feels in character for them as dark as it is. Brilliant!

I ♥ your record. : )

I believe that both Bill & Laura had 'dark' sides. Doesn't everyone?

And Laura's last line is truly the knockdown, isn't it? Might have been enough to sober Bill up at that point.
