Hair is a woman's crown. And for the most part, Laura's was beautiful. She loved it; we loved it; Bill definitely loved it.

Sensitive, caring Bill. Yes, he most certainly said that about her hair.

Oh yeah, a single drink, the slow burn & the glowing embers much, much later.

Perfect! I loved their interaction in that episode "i'll have supper ready" and would have loved to see moar of that. So glad u showed us more *happy sigh* And the last line = pure win *gg*

I absolutely loved that little word play between them in that scene. Had to go there.

And make use of Bill's brown robe of win.

This is beautiful. However, considering what came after this I'm not sure I want to go and open up 'tomorrow'. Maybe I should just fantasise about Bill and Laura living together a bit longer.

Oh I just love this. FANTASTIC!! I always wanted to put the "honey, I'm home" somewhere in an a/r fic and yours is perfect. Love the "robe" and the "hair", wonderful dialogue and this line “Passion, desire, and courage-things I lost, but have found again", ahhh it just squeezed my heart. And sweet last line, "me", hee hee!! Great work!!

You hit all of my favorite elements. I love that litte scene between Laura & Bill early in The Oath. Bill's I'll try to make it home for supper. & Laura's I'll try to have it ready. was simply too perfect not to incorporate into what might have happened later that day as I pretended the mutiny didn't happen quite so quickly.
