They stood toe to toe in her cell.

“You’re too stupid to figure out you just screwed over the one ally you had.  You didn’t have the guts to hold on.  Tell me who’s gonna help you?” Adama hissed.

“Yeah, frak me, huh?” Kara said softly.  “Sure as hell isn’t gonna be you.  You’ve got to remind yourself that you’re somebody else.  The President’s wet ( Read more... )

I love paternal Bill. You have him down pat here. (Of course, you should.)

I love how he guessed about her and Lee. And I love that Kara went to him about the 'Harbinger of death' thing.

I love this passage for some reason: The Old Man didn’t believe in destiny; she was on the fence. Gods or God-she wasn’t sure anymore. Maybe in the end, none of it mattered.

Yeah, Bill's pretty in tune with what's goin' on. Happy to know I've got his voice & character down pat.

He definitely should have had daughters.

I believe Kara definitely saw Bill as a father figure. And that Bill, through Kara, would always be connected to Zak.

Now how did I miss this the first time around. I love Bill and Kara's relationship, it's one of my favourites on BSG. I really love the progression you use of their scenes and examination of their relationship. This makes me love Bill a little bit more, if that was possible.

I can hear Bill saying all these lines. I especially loved this one, “it’s not important what you are. It’s who you are that matters.” How true for Kara and whatever she became, she always stayed true to who she was. I think you captured that perfectly in this fic. Nice work!!

I've managed to organize my fics. Hopefully interested parties will now find my work easier to find.

: )

Kara was so important in Bill's life. I find his struggle in dealing with her--professional level vs. personal level--very interesting. And he is so much a father figure to her & she his daughter.

Very happy knowing I captured them both.
