I have to say again I just love your fics. You always have a little edge to it and yet still it's beautiful and touching. The reality of this scene just reaches right into my heart and squeezes.

*blush*

Thank you so much. Knowing readers enjoy what you do = confidence & the desire to continue.

And heart squeezing--what a wonderful squeeze it is.

Payback for breaking mine.

We can always hold hands.

And wibble together.

You outta the bed yet?

Yes, I was going for the cry.

Crying is cleansing. Or so they say.

Just know you're not alone.

I'm going to have to get one of you Yanks to explain the macaroni/elbow thing to me, aren't I? Is it the shape? Do you call it elbow pasta or something? *feeling stupid and confused*

Anyway - other than the constant macaroni references that have appeared for this prompt - I love the drabble.

I love the part when he had wanted for her to be in his bed for days. So sad.

Thank you for lightening the mood a little! :-D Yep, over here, the box usually says "elbow macaroni", or sometimes just "elbows".

Now I'm imagining how puzzled you must have been to see all these references to pasta, and I'm not nearly as sad anymore. ;-)

Well I'm glad I'm here for comic relief!

I have heard of elbow pasta (I think - vaguely familiar) but never ever elbow macaroni. Will need to check the pasta section again.

Hoping you've got the macaroni thing down now.

Thank you for the love.

Endings are sometimes sad...
