Pepsi: The choice of a new generation.

Well I started working at another bar place. This time I get tips and I am doing full bartending. Meaning I do cash resgister stuff, cleaning glasses, beer, wine, liquor, everything. Not just beer and wine anymore or just making drinks for the servers. I get 5.15 an hour + tips which usually looks to be 30 - 120 a night depending on how many bartenders are there and how busy it is. The bartenders split the tips evenly. After Tuesday I wont be "in training" any more and I can collect more than 10%. I have only worked 4 days but i have 50 bucks in the bank from tips alone. Not bad considering my training position isnt required to get a share of the tips but the bartenders I work with kick ass and give me 10%. This place is in a nice location too, down town fort worth....literally across the street from where my mom works. Its a resturant that belongs to a hotel next door which is why it isnt as busy as it should be alot of the time. Its a convention hotel since theres a convention center down the street. So depending on whats going on we could be dead or completely slammed. It's ok pay though since most bartenders get like 3 bucks an hour. i get minimum + tips but some times the place can be really dead. Well for now it will work. It's still not enough for me. I need an engineering job but for now this will be enough. And if I get fired or something I still have the catering place as a backup. Hell i might even work there on my days off...i dont know.
