Well, here we go again...
Hello all - hope you remember me. Some might be facebook friends, so this would be old news to them (although it was only recently announced on FB.)
I am relocating (yes, again) but this time, it completes a circle. I'm in the process of buying a duplex, and moving to my hometown of Knoxville, TN. My job is probably as stable as it will ever get, my mom really needs me to keep watch over her, and I am ready to come home. I've spent 20 years in the "Big cities" but realize I want to have my family in my life. I'm still single, probably will remain that way, so need to re-boot my life some. Fortunately, my job is such that it moves with me. My dad is helping me in a big way to make this all happen. My sister has really helped, too.
Sadly, I don't think my experience living in Atlanta has been that great for me. It's been difficult emotionally at times, and my friendships have waxed and waned, too. I believe its for the best that I go home, and see where I am at with my life.
OK, so here's to a "fresh" start in Knoxville, renewing some friendships from long ago, and starting new ones, too!
