Nifty!
The extremely low bust line of the period freaks me out slightly. **nipplepeak**

I'm sure they were made for that NOT to happen.

I think if you wear the right underwear, and not a modern bra, it won't happen. We have to remember that this was an era before push-up bras and that the modern bustline is actually much higher than the natural one. Do you remember a few years ago when I made a gown from a period pattern and the bust was totally too low for me? I took off my bra and it was fine!

I do! I actually meant the low-line of the undergarments frightens me slightly. Like when I made a slip last fall for my black flapper dress (it does exist; I just have no pictures), I tried to mimic the illustration. Bust line was so low, my boobs did fall out of it and it wouldn't hang right. So, I shortened the straps. I'm sure it really was just a fitting issue as all the online tutorials I found from the 20s assume you already know how to make a slip. I have since found a pdf explaining how to draft one.

We're also up against the fact that, wearing a lifting bra since you were 13 has the effect of producing a lifted bust even when you're not wearing that bra. So there's that.

Just adjust your necklines as needed.

I have to admit, though, that the most jarring thing I see on girls wearing "flapper" dresses is their tits sticking straight out. It ain't the 50s, baby!
