Stopped over at starherd's tonight to pick up the Gluhen Ken costume. Couldn't resist getting a few pictures while I was there...

You think that's bad? Just wait 'til you see what taking a picture of me does to your digital camera at Katsucon!

Don't worry, there shall be pictures galore! And hopefully lots of silly bishounen in the pink frilly apron, as well. I'm psyched because the Old Style WK vs. Gluhen panel is being held on Saturday, which means I don't need to drag the costume with me on Friday or Sunday just for that panel. I'd like to avoid driving 100+ miles in that costume as much as possible ^_^;;

And as you can see from the responses already posted... no spawn yet. I'm still with my mother on her Thursday bet, though a Yaoi-Con baby would be really cool.

Yeah, that's me as Aya. I looked all ghetto last night - didn't even have my dress shirt on underneath the coat. *grin*

A combination of the coat and the hair. But mostly the coat. I try to pick costumes where I don't have to do anything major to my hair for it, so Aya's braid for perfect (for all that you can't see it in the pictures I posted). I absolutely fell in love with the coat at first sight, though, so I just had to have it, one way or another.

And having said that about the hair, I recently started eying wigs for Sena. Whether or not I do that costume, though, will depend on the materials on hand.

I really badly want to see a Gluhen Yohji cosplayer, just because his outfit is so wrong. Every time I look at him my brain starts singing "My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid Rock!"
