Dichotomous Day
So, as the title implies, today was filled with both the good and the, well, not bad...not-so-good, I suppose.
Good: Gwendolyn had a good send-off this morning at school.
Not-So-Good: Gwendolyn had somewhat of a rough end to her day, complete with tummy issues. Poor kid.
Good: Went to therapy.
Not-So-Good: Will not be able to pay therapist until next week because we really have no money at the moment.
Good: ...Well, we do have a little money, now, because...
Not-So-Good: I had to sell my Line 6 bass amp because we're that strapped.
Good: I will get my unemployment *sometime* after Friday...
Not-So-Good: Because that's when the unemployment office will call me to clear up the "issue" with my weekly claim that delayed the payment in the first place. Yay.
Good: Finally found a source for these lovely "Trollbeads" that I heard about.
Not-So-Good: They are hella-expensive, and as stated above, I has no monies.
Good: Had a lovely lunch and mall outing with Koren today.
Not-So-Good: She is still ill, and it breaks my heart to see her so uncomfortable, and I wish with all my might that I had the ability to cure all of her afflictions. I try to help and alieviate as much as I'm able.
*sigh* Nickus doos what Nickus can doos.
