Is it Sunday already?
Michael took Jackson on a Playdate Saturday. One of Michaels friends has a son Wilder so the guys decided to meet up at the park and then they took the kids to lunch. It's kinda funny as I like seeing dads out with the kids and no mommies in sight :-). I had to run errands and I was on a wild goose hunt for Cellophane Halloween Party Bags as I want to make up goody bags for the kids in his class/school as they're having a party on Friday. I must have gone to like 5 stores till I finally found some. They also had a bunch of non-candy items so I picked up fun Halloween tattoos and glow in the dark stickers. When I got home I decided to bake some more cookies with Jackson which is fun but it certainly does a job on the kitchen = mess. It poured last night so Michael and I just watched The Departed on HBO On Demand.
Today we left the house at 10A for an early morning Bike Ride then our friend called us to tell us about a Kids Halloween Party in the West Village (Bleecker St). Since we were already downtown we rode over to meet them. It was soo much fun, the only thing was Jackson was sans costume and didn't feel like heading back uptown to get him dressed and come back plus there were other kids without costumes so it wasn't such a big deal. There was live kids music, face-painting, Magic Shows, Horse & Carriage rides etc. The block was also closed off so kids could trick-or-treat at the local retailers. Alexander, Jackson's buddy was there and the kids really had a blast chasing each other. We went over to the White Horse Tavern and sat outside for lunch then back to the park for more running around. At like 4P we split as it was getting late and the crankies were starting to come out.
Here are a few pics from my new point-n-shoot :-) Not the same quality as the DSLR but does the job and it fits right in my pocket!
