Disappointed...Yes. But Not Devastated
Well, I had my interview today. It went well, but since the position was for 7th grade and my certification is 8-12, they went with another applicant. However, the principal who interviewed me seemed very encouraging. She said that she thinks I will make an excellent teacher and that I should have a job soon, that I just needed to be patient.
I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed, but I'm not devastated, because I firmly believe that when you want something very badly and it *doesn't* work out, something better is on the way. Hopefully, in my case, it will be a job that pays more...in an air-conditioned building.
So, it's back to square one, I guess.
