Italy's calling it "
the September 11th of world diplomacy."
Which
I don't know
I don't know if that's appropriate or not
I haven't seen anything
too substantialyet
so I can't line that statement up to my understanding of "the September 11th of 2001"
but there is no way that releasing this information will systematically kill 3,000 mostly innocent people over the course of a few hours, all while being broadcast live to a global audience.
You can look at it as a catastrophe of structure, but it seems to me, if you do choose to view it through that prism, anyone from the post-colonial feminist school is basically a terrorist or a sympathizer (labeled "enemy combatant").
Because increasingly, it seems to me the structure needs shook up.
The prominently held fear is that this will damage diplomatic relations between the United States and its allies. I elect to focus on the silver lining; which is: the United States will have to double its efforts to improve those relationships... maybe in order to do that it will do what's like, right. You know? Like, the right thing?
Or anyway, that could maybe happen on another plane of existence. It probably won't happen on this one. But as long as it happens on just one other plane of existence, the universe will be made more just.
Then
of course
the universe is balance
and exactly how much justice does an unjust species deserve
in order for appropriate hypothetical American response to
the newest Wikileakto actually make the universe more just?
Like
how much does the universe maybe hate humanity
that the universe might actually be rooting for America to act like a bunch of jerks
and so
like
that would make things for humanity get even worse!
And then nature would get its planet back
just a little quicker
and actually that would make the universe more just.
Or what.
I just hope that me
as I am
right now
like, I guess what I'm saying is that I hope this particular consciousness of myself and the plane of existence it is riding is the one universe of infinite universes in which something big and positive for humanity and maybe even positive for the planet is happening or could happen with these Wikileaks. Because, you know, it could. This could be a game changer. I mean, the diplomatic community's abuzz about the September 11th of its sphere of reality, so it actually could be, right?
I mean they're calling it the 9/11 of world diplomacy (anyway, the Italians are). We all know how stupidly we responded to the first one, maybe if we respond appropriately to the second one (if the Wikileaks is actually so shitty that 3,000 mostly innocent people are killed over the course of a few hours, all while being broadcast live to a global audience), it could be a step in negating the deepest and most unfortunate tragedy of that shitty shitty day when it happened the first time
which was
obviously
responding in a way that lead to the undue collateral deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings in some of the harshest and most apt-to-radicalizing regions of the earth, thus re-igniting a perpetual motion machine of suffering.
Maybe I'm reaching here.
