Two tough days in a row. Car breaks on Wednesday. Get swamped in the kitchen. Day rebounds upon meeting two Germans at the conclusion of their Grand American Tour. I apologize for the past eight years, and they drink me under the table.
Wake up on Thursday with the Queen Bitch of Hangovers. Throw up roughly twelve times. Reach 75% at 5:00PM/MT after a day squirming in bed. Have some house mac and cheese and a gallon of water, smoke a small bowl, and went for a walk to Point Park, at the edge of the lake. Had ten black and whites left in my camera and used them in a study on truth and beauty in the mountains.
Hung out with the Wisconsin girls, encouraged one to climb up a ledge, and she did, which was surprising, because they're both so overweight. They found a horse and fed it. I bought a raccoon skin cap and a sheriff's badge at a tourist trap. Met a four-month old black lab puppy named Indie, and her owner, Rye, who's friends with the bartender at the Lariat. Meeting girls is weird when you're sharing a shack with a complete stranger because, whether your intentions for being friendly are innocent or not, there's the fact that you share a shack with a complete stranger. It's like freshman year, but worse, because I can't just kick Rob out of the cabin.
Today feels like it's going to be wasted. Mostly cloudy; car doesn't work; a pile of laundry; no one to hang out with because everyone else works Fridays. But there's plenty to smoke, and plenty of reading/writing/movie watching to be done.
