Barney Rubble

Joey bought like $15 worth of the worst cereal imaginable: Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, and Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. All small boxes, too. No nutritional value at all, and absolutely no discount value to any of it, either. Such a drag. People gotta be smart shoppers when the economy's dipping like this.

After at least a decade, Dad finally had the house reconnected to the internet. Within two weeks, he's mass e-mailing socialist diatribes. At the same time, he's hoping to hear back from his connection at the Liberty Wal-Mart. The thought of my old man wearing a royal blue Wal-Mart vest keeps me up at night.

I watched There Will Be Blood last night. All aspects of that movie were perfect. There is a lot to be learned from studying it.

Matt graduates in three weeks. I am really looking forward to flying back to see everyone, and also to get drunk in Oxford. Also: To eat some food that someone else has paid for. That will be particularly sweet. I'm e-mailing my hook-up at Groundswell tomorrow to inform them that I will be traveling during the second week of May, and therefor unavailable should they need me in office. (I will, however, work to adjust some travel plans to better fit their needs, should it be a problem.) Hopefully that will illicit a response of some sort: either an up or down would do, as I'm tired of waiting for them to get back to me. I'd sure like to get started following up on my back-up plan... in the event that such actions are required.

Los Angeles was hot today, and it's going to be hotter tomorrow. We are just scraping the balls of 100° out here. The absence of humidity is nice, but I've never before had this kind of day in April. This place is literally a desert.
