No word yet from The Alexander House about that job I applied for.
Didn't get to B+D last night. I did, however, walk out of a party with an extra $5. And I worked on my SkeeBall.
I have a lot of reading to do between now and the Oscars, because I will not accomplish a single thing once those start.
The Oscars always make me feel like a tart, because I give a damn.
This is who I think should win. So that means that none of these people and films will win these categories, because last year I got like four right, total.

* I didn't see nearly as many movies this year that I saw last year, and so in the cases of Best Actress and Animated Feature, it was a combination of who they were against, and previous body of work. For example, I have dreams about Kate Winslet, so I'd obviously want her to win. In the case of Happy Feet, it's also simple: I hated Cars and even though I'm tired of computer animation in general, I'd rather one win that at least goes after political issues like global warming and because penguins are cute. I don't specifically give a shit about penguins, but they're like otters, and I wish them no harm.
** Why We Fight wasn't nominated, but it should have been, because it was probing as hell. I still haven't seen An Inconvenient Truth (I will, I will...), but if for no other reason than to legitimize Al Gore for the rest of eternity, I want it to win. Also, he is still my #1 for 2008, and if he announced on stage this evening, I'm sure the world would change over night.
