London town.
Hallo there my lovelies, I have relocated and it's brilliant so far. The house is in a pretty, quiet grove but only 10 minutes away from all the goodness of Camden High Street. I'm in love with Sainsbury's and their cheap food. We have a lovely back garden and friendly neighbours, most of whom are Italian. Hot water has never run out so far. My roommate is really nice, easy-going and funny. She talks to me in English half the time because she's so unused to having another Hungarian around.
I'd show you some pictures but my laptop sort of crashed when I tried to load them onto it. I resent my laptop a lot right now. There is wireless internet in the house, which Umberto lets us use for free, but my laptop is so old it can't even have a wireless port fitted (my brother tried), so EPIC FAIL. I'm using the net from my roommate's laptop. But I'm getting the skpe phone on less than a week, so all should be fine then.
I went to the Palladium box office today and got a ticket for Pat Wolf!!! 10th row, it is going to be amazing. I'm so happy. Patrick Wolf!!!!!
I think I can find my way around pretty well, anyway, especially considering that my dad failed to locate his awesome London street map before I came away, so all I have is a small, shoddy one that doesn't extend beyond the centre, so I'll just have to learn my way around NW1 by myself. Good thing London is such a dummy-friendly place with big signs and maps everywhere.
Oh and I love my Oyster card, although I'm going to try to use it as little as possible. I'll eventually work out the quickest way to uni and walk, it's 30 minutes max, probably less with my pipes and speeeed. Worth it if it saves me £10 a week. I foolishly walked into the Oxford Street HMV today. OMFG. OMFG. MUST NOT DO AGAIN UNTIL GRANT ARRIVES.
Oh the kitchen is nice too. I may actually try to cook at some point. But all the ready-made food is very tempting lolz.
Tomorrow, the world officially explodes into MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE-IC. Oh yeah I splashed out on the October issue of Q, the one with Matt smashing the logo. Love/hate of music press in full swing inside my head now, lolz.
