I have things to explain!
bleki the dog: That is my dog, yes. It's his name because he is black, and the Hungarian word "blöki" is a sort of casual word for "dog" so it's a bad pun, really. I wanted to call him Bonzo but the Bleki thing stuck fairly early on. I don't hate him, he's just insufferable and has no manners.
fogalmamsincs: The name of an imaginary band I formed with my friend Réka. It means "no idea" or "no clue," only written without spaces. So, Noidea. We have one recording, a song we composed at about the age of eight or nine or I don't remember. It's called "Behind the Wall" and it goes, "Behind the wall, behind the wall two pigs were singing. They were singing that: behind the wall, behind the wall..." etc, over and over. Positively bubbling with Pink Floyd references. We have it on tape somewhere.
walking on custard: You can walk on custard the way Jesus walked on water. Custard is a
non-Newtonian fluid, that's why. I find this fact absolutely rad and I wish to walk on custard one day.
This is the Siegessäule in Berlin - you probably saw it omg. It was featured in the Wim Wenders movie Wings of Desire and... idk. I like it. I want to go to Berlin.
Spark of brilliance by Stephen Fry. It was in the script for
this Fry & Laurie sketch, though it didn't end up being in it. Still, I strongly advise everyone to view as many bits of Fry & Laurie as possible.
Mr Bennet from the BBC TV series adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. I wanted a facepalm icon, and an icon from P&P, and Mr and Mrs Bennet are played to such perfection and I adore them.
I will ask you about three of your interests and icons if you like.
It's completely sick to have a cold in such scorching August days, but there I have it. I've been horribly ill-tempered lately, anyway, and there isn't anything to update on. I'll do a picspam when I'm back at my own computer (haha, net connection troubles never end).
