(no subject)
So, the helpful front page of LiveJournal informs me that it's been a whole twelve weeks since I updated.
Umm....
Sorry.
Anyway, much as it pains me to say it, you haven't really missed that much. I finished off my second year of Uni, obviously. I'm just awaiting the results for that, which hopefully I'll get in the next few days.
And, thanks to my transfer, I'm not only finished with that Uni, but finished with York entirely! I moved out of the old place at the end of May, which wasn't a moment too soon, really. One of my housemates had become a complete nightmare, so I was very glad to get away.
So I left that place and went back to stay with my parents for 3 weeks. Most of which involved helping to look after the kitten that my Mum got the day before I returned. The very cute little ball of black and white fluff rapidly became a rampaging killing machine during those 3 weeks! It's just normal kitten-y behaviour, but it really does hurt when he scratches or sinks his teeth into you!
And now I'm down in London, at the boyfriends flat. I've been here since Friday, and on Saturday we finally got our contract signed on the new flat, so we actually move on this coming Saturday. Yay! It's been a bit weird yesterday and today though, as I've been in Richard's flat alone all day while he's at work. Just feels wrong! Still, I'm trying to keep myself busy with a combination of computer games, shitty daytime TV and t'internet.
Off to see a band called Beirut tonight, who are great. Really weird, unusual sound, but very good music.
Just can't wait for Saturday though. Only a few days, and we'll be in our new home together. :-)
