Recruiters suck
So Brandon found out today that his recruiter has been jerking him around for the last month. He had to fill out a waiver that stated that the military job he was going for should take into consideration not only the ASVAB scores, but also his previous experience with Tech work. Apparently his recruiter has had the military's decision on this for a month now, and never bothered to call Brandon about it. When Brandon's Dad called to find out what the fuck was going on, he was told that the recruiter felt it was Brandon's fault for not calling him more often to check in, and so that he could call Brandon back. Which is a load of fucking bullshit.
So now Brandon and his Dad will be going to talk with a new recruiter about both Air Force Reserves and Air Force Active Duty.
I'd rather he do Reserves. I'm not fond of moving, much less making new friends and being away from the little family I have over here. On the other hand with no kids to worry about moving a lot wouldn't be that bad, especially since we were planing on having babies in about 4 years anyways...which works out very well I think. And on the really bright side, going active means that we could go back to Germany and get stationed there. Can you say family reunion? =D
