i wish i spoke french.
not really, it wouldnt do much for me. but theres a woman speaking french into the pay phone behind me and i was intrigued. also, i sat next to a french woman on one of my flights back to AK.
oh yeah! i back, by the way. got back monday night.
it was a good break, for the most part. got back late thursday afternoon, hung out with my friend elissa (who, incidentally, is emilis twin), we went to the jr royale cherry fest parade b/c my brother was the prince for his school (i was the princess when i was in first grade too...its like a legacy in our family...so weird. all of my siblings thus far have been either royalty or alternate: my sister and stepsister were both alternate princesses, i was princess, and my brother was prince this year...all we need is my littlest bro to get it when hes in 1st grade :)) ...anyways...friday i had a doctors appt for my physical before i go to england and b/c i got ridiculously sick right before i came home from AK. that was cool. just kidding. i havent laid down to sleep in days b/c i cant breathe when doing so. i need to work on that. but it is getting better, so im sure ill be ok. friday...my wonderful robs and kp came into town! i was soooo excited. we hung out in town, and went to the beach and watched fireworks with lundy the next night, and went and saw robyns mom b/c she was visiting a friend not far from where i live...and in general just had a good time. we havent seen each other since the end of the semester, and i had missed them so much. we also went to the big parade (aka the royale parade) on saturday. 3 freaking ours. good lord. but we had a blast. i missed them soooo much. sunday i went to church and saw my madison and alli, which was sooo exciting. jacob wasnt there, hes in san diego for naval training right now...but i knew he wouldnt be. he left the day i got home...hows that for shitty timing? we havent been in the same state in months...its ridiculous. but he called me friday to say hey, and that was cool, ive missed him a lot. i still do. moreso than i thought possible. madison and alli and i also went and got coffee with michael and katie, a couple other people from church. then sunday was also my sisters bridal shower, which i really enjoyed. i saw some family and old friends i hadnt seen in months or even years. then sunday night i packed up, got some stuff for M from her mom and sister, and we left monday morning. got to have some shitty time traveling with delays and crap like that, butoh well. it worked out ok. we made it home. now, ive just worked and last night hung out with heather. ive gotta go see if i work at ocean view tonight or not. i hope i do b/c i need the money, but i hope i dont b/c im so damn tired. the weather at home was great though, 90+ like every day. here its in the 60s, again, though surprisingly, its not raining. but im not holding out hope for that to continue :).
i kinda like it here. part of me is glad to be back, part of me is like, why didnt you get out while you had the chance? haha. im coming home again aug 10-15 for my sisters wedding, and thatll be fun. then ill be back here for my last week or 2 before im done for good this summer. its weird, but i think ill miss it. i know there are people i will miss. a lot.
anyways...i gotta get outta here...before i fall asleep at the computer. im eyes keep closing on me. i need more rest.
