thought of the day part thirty: digitally chilling, all morning long
I started bartending last night (well, technically on Tuesday night, and technically I'm still just training...), which is really exciting. FINALLY all of this hard work as a cocktail waitress has pulled off and I'm moving up in the world (er... Brothers).
No I can't discount your drinks, or get you in underage, so don't ask.
It's pretty exciting, and I'm still slow because I'm getting used to everything, but hopefully more practice in the upcoming weeks will help me kick some ass at this.
Other than that, things are going well. I have barely any free time (since I work in pewaukee from 8-5 and then have been driving to madison to train/bartend from 6-11). I'm exhausted.
My parents asked me what I was going to do with my night off (tonight) and the saddest part was the first thing I thought of was to make a drink haha. At least this time I'll get to enjoy it.
John and Gail are coming over tonight to go swimming. I haven't seen them in so long (they're basically like my unrelated uncle and aunt...), and am actually pretty excited about it. I might also upload a shit-ton of facebook photos tonight, because I've been meaning to do that for a while.
[God, that camping trip was marvelous.]
Bascially tonight is going to be all about relaxing. Maybe I'll go for a run. Maybe I'll meditate. Maybe I'll dance or bike or play guitar. Regardless, it's pretty exciting to be able to have the night off.
Anida's 21st birthday is this weekend! Unfortunately I won't be able to join in as much as I thought I would with the festivities. I might be the DD on saturday for our tubing trip (because I won't be able to go out with her on Friday night and won't be able to drink during the day on Saturday because I have to work Saturday night as well), but we'll have to see.
It's going to be a long weekend, and I'm kind of in a funk because I'm so far away from a handful of amazing friends. Oh well, I hope to see them soonly. =]

I had a cool dream about turning into a giant. It was sweet. Now I'm craving starbursts.
