I woke up early this morning for a doctor's appointment. This guy had yet another explanation for the tingly arm. Why can't two doctors ever agree?? It's highly annoying. So supposedly I need this nerve conduction study done but my symptoms are starting to disappear so I don't think I'll bother.
Next, my mom and I bought a whole bunch of Halloween decorations for my dorm room. I'm excited to go back and decorate!
After that was another doctor appointment, this time at a specialist and for a different problem. Ugh, it is such torture to go there! It seriously hurts and I hate it so much. But I'm getting these DNA test results in 10 days that will hopefully indicate that I'm all better and I'll not have to make such frequent visits. Oh how I despise that place!
My mom felt bad for me so she cheered me up by taking me and my sister out for the day. First, we all got our hair cut. Mine is finally different! Jeez, every time I go to Hair Studio One, I say that I want something different and they always give me the same thing. The last time, the lady was asking me all these specific questions about the length of my angles and layers and everything, and that was the last straw! I'm not a professional; I don't fricken know how long different sections of my hair should be. So I went on strike and ended up at Valentino's in the Wilton Mall. OMG, you wouldn't believe the hairstylist I had. She was around my age and we talked the entire time about everything under the sun (i.e. our past relationships, college, how she thinks her boss is two-faced), haha, she was awesome. And I love how my hair turned out! She showed me how to style it and everything but I probably won't be able to get it to look just like she did.
We stopped in a few stores. I bought two shirts, an origami kit (haha I needed a new hobby), and some stationary. We also ate at Panera Bread which I missed because no one in Buffalo has discovered the deliciousness of that restaurant!!
Just as I was arriving home, I got a call from Ben who wanted to hang out! So I went back to Queensbury to see his new apartment. Very impressive. We just cuddled and watched TV, and you know what? I think that's GREAT, because that's the sweet kind of affection I've been missing. Just snuggling and holding each other is so much sweeter than making out and everything that follows. So I was happy. Too bad I probably won't see Ben again till Christmas break and in the meantime I have to go back to all the more immature guys at my college *sigh*
Anyway, this break was fantastic. Tomorrow I'm off to Buffalo again. I haven't touched my homework since I've been home so I'm not looking forward to delving into that upon my arrival. So long, Granville!
