HAHAHA! Take THAT you AKCers!
This was a new response on the GSD elist for the thread dealing with ear cropping, one that has, until recently, included just myself arguing with a couple others. Now, others are slowly starting to contribute. I found this email particularly amusing and definitely worthy of posting. :-P
"Yes, we Americans don't want anyone stepping on our right to be free, free to breed champion show dogs who are dysplastic... whose temperament is such that they could never ever do what they were supposedly bred to do, herd sheep, hunt birds, etc etc. Oh yes, and the wonderful White Shepherds, long haired Shepherds, and oversized giants. Or dogs that if not artificially inseminated would never be able to breed naturally and of course require C-sections because the pups' heads are too big for the birth canal. Oh yes, lets not let anyone limit our right to exercise our rights over others.
