Toshiba laptops suck ass

For my graduation gift and in lieu of giving me any money for college, my mother and step-father bought me a Toshiba laptop (which was particularly good because there was no room for my desktop PC at my mamaw's house except in my room where I couldn't get wi-fi signal). And all was good.

Except suddenly today it decided not to be good. My mother and step-father have had trouble with the charger cord breaking, but I had the opposite problem... without any sort of external force to cause it, the INSIDE part of the charger broke. I had it plugged in to charge earlier and it was fine. I unplugged it and moved to a different seat and when I had about twenty minutes left I went to plug my laptop back in and... suddenly it was broken. I swear on my life that nothing happened to cause it. It just all of sudden was broken.

So, I'm switching my laptop's battery out with the battery of a laptop that can still charge until we can get my computer sent in and fixed... it will take four days to get the box to mail my laptop to them in and then about another fourteen days for it to get fixed and back to me. So I won't be on much once we get my laptop mailed off. And I will have nothing to do (and I am SO upset now... I had all this writing and drawing planned to do on the computer tonight and now I am just SO frustrated that I don't want to do a thing). All I do anymore is get on the computer because there is nothing to do and if I can't do that, well, crap.

So yeah if you're going to buy a laptop, don't go Toshiba, because they SUCK SUCK SUCK. And you better be willing to put out the extra hundreds for the warranty -- and you better buy the warranty fast, because my chance at buying an extended warranty is already expired and I haven't even had the laptop a whole year!
