She already knew how her parents had died. They lived on a space station that was attacked and crippled due to some war. As one of the survivors, she was allowed to visit the partially repaired station before everything was cleared out for reconstruction.
The memory that she had a brother was a twist, but not really in a Twilight Zone fashion. Either the brother didn't live on the station or had already evacuated - I think the latter - and they never found each other.
Well, it would be a twist in the external viewer fashion, as anyone 'watching' your dream would not know about the brother until SPOILER ALERT she remembers her brother END SPOILER ALERT. :B
I'm not disputing that the brother was a twist, what I'm saying is that the Twilight Zone is usually paranormal in nature.
Of course, there's certainly no reason it couldn't become paranormal: perhaps she finds all this evidence of him, but he never actually existed. You could go anywhere from there... in the Twilight Zone.
