Dwarf Fortress: Kobold Camp

My cutebold camps in neutral biomes have been boring and uneventful, so I decided to go some evil biomes.

My first one was in a sinister biome with no river and ended up being harassed by werewolves. My slicer and trader were killed early on, so I drafted everybody to give them some combat skill. With only one trade caravan ever managed to survive the trip I sent out my five cutebold warriors (four of whom were unarmed) and tried to head the werewolf off. One trader was killed, but I got the werewolf... right at the edge of a murky pool, and my hacker/woodcutter drowned, taking the only chopper with him. Draining the pool isn't difficult, but isn't particularly cuteboldy; since it was unlikely I'd be able to trade for a new chopper, I gave up.

My second one was in a 50% terrifying biome and was actually doing rather well. The wildlife was leaving me alone (okay, I was keeping out of the way) and the camp had grown to 12 cutebolds. The only workshop left to build was a brewery, and that was more due to laziness. All of a sudden: humans. T_T

There's a 40d16 version of Kobold Camp at DF File Depot
