I was riding a hover cycle at full speed to hurtle over a bunch of security lasers. I was going to meet Faith. She was out stealing some stuff.
Still, I arrived at some park area and found Faith. She had already gone over most of the area except for two areas by a large lake, which were guarded and impossible to access without being seen.
With me there, it was just a simple matter of diversion. Oddly enough, she charged in and drew the guards off (odd in the sense that Faith is fairly callous and independent). While the guard was gone, I ran in, grabbed the small chests that were there and skidaddled.
We met up again in the car (wait, where's my hover cycle? :< ). Once we were underway, I gave the chests to Faith, who opened them. Inside one chest was a small piece of common milk quartz and a bunch of marbles. Faith was understandably annoyed and gave the chest back to me.
I picked up the quartz and rolled it in my hands a few times and wished there were jewels instead. As I played with the quartz, I hovered it above the marbles and, suddenly, they began turning into jewels. I showed Faith, who repeated the process and said that this is what she was looking for. She then gave it back to me to hold onto for some reason.
When we got back to some hotel I went for a walk around and I met Cordelia. She was being the typical bitch-queen, but I shrugged it off... thinking of the magic stone, I got an idea. I went up to her, took her hand and attempted to turn her watch into precious metals and crystals. It was already a fancy watch, so I wasn't expecting much and not much happened but I knew it had changed.
She asked me what the hell I was doing... then I noticed the rather simple ring earrings she was wearing. I quickly passed the stone over her earring and it became a shiny gold. She, of course, pushed me away and checked her earring. She was amazed and had me do the other one and I happily obliged. Cordi then asked me to do more, but I declined and left, leaving her somewhat confused and annoyed.
When I got back to the room, I saw Faith running from something. I don't know what, but she was pretty freaked. I didn't want to stick around to find out what it was and quickly left for some courtyard.
I then ducked into some side building, where I found Giles and some of the other Scoobies (including Jesse, who was Xander's friend and got vamped in one of the early episodes). I pulled out the small chest again and showed him the quartz and what it did.
He took the quartz and looked disturbed. He told me that the stone granted the wishes of the people near it and that a stray wish could make it incredibly dangerous.
There was suddenly a disturbance outside. We went out to see what it was and Giles had totally jinxed it. The courtyard fountain now housed a huge tentacle monster (one large central tentacle with smaller ones), which lashed out and grabbed at Jesse.
The rest of us tried to free him. I was closest and kept tearing of tentacles as quickly as they could grab him... then markings began appearing all over his body. The monster was possessing him!
With that, a larger tentacle swatted me away. Trying to think of what I could do, I remembered the wishing stone. I grabbed it from where Giles had left it and tried to wish the monster away. It didn't work. I then wished Jesse free and that didn't work either. I then just wanted something to blast the monster and lo and behold, kablam!
Jesse and the bits of the tentacles holding him went flying under a bench. I rushed over to help him but it was too late... in the sense that he was completely possessed. When I had attempted to wish Jesse free, I knew that it was too late and had unwittingly wished the process complete.
