Off to the Emerald City to the convention of cherry blossoms...
aka, I'm heading to Seattle (which is nick-named the emerald city) for SakuraCon. I'm picking up my buddy mellonemrys when she gets in on the train from PortLand. I will be unavailable to most everyone, unless of course you know me enough to have my cell number. I'll be back, maybe, on monday, but I may also be too hung-over, so we'll see.
It should be much fun, so far it's the only con I'm planning on going to this year where I don't have to be responsible for anything except me! I mean, I LOVE staffing, but it's nice to not have to beg someone to watch copics so you can go pee.... I hope to, actually, be acquiring my own set of copics!!! I'm soo in love with them, that I can't wait to buy them on friday!!!! *dances* then I can make pretty arts with them, and hopefully I can get shades so that I can replicate my own skin tone!!!! *dies* I haven't been able to do that, like, EVAR!
Anyways, much fun will be had. I'll be alittle bummed, since my current work situation leaves me with little spending money, but ohwell. I'll just have to not get any manga. and cut back on the trading figures, I guess.... Maybe I just won't get doujinshi, but....... DX *dies* It sucks having to budget after having mucho monies my last few cons.... ;o;
The only thing that sucks is that tomorrow, we have to take a bus to the con with all mine and mellonemrys's stuff....
