Wow, I'm still really shitty with updating livejournal! I could not tell you why if I wanted to.

[first bit of this entry removed as it was a time-sensitive NYAF-related request and the time has passed now~ now I'm just crossing fingers. thanks, to those who helped! ♥]

But anyway, yeah! NYAF is this weekend, huh? We're trying to figure out how to get down there at the moment because Ame just found out (seeing as today was her first day of work-- hooray!) she has to work a closing shift on Friday night, so uh... we're maybe a little bit effed. I'm sure we'll work something out. We don't have a ton planned for cosplay, Peter & Wendy from Kuroshitsuji made by scootkadoot for her group assuming that works out, and hopefully Haruko & Naota from FLCL if we can get our asses in gear and finish those up this week.

I wish I was more in a cosplay/convention state of mind right now but it's really not... been at the forefront of my priorities lately. Hoping NYAF is fun anyway, I don't really have the patience for anything that threatens to be less. 8D;;

Classes have been decent this semester but have me really busy. Still working on falling into a more regular sleep schedule. The fact that Ame got hired a few days ago (SUCH GOOD NEWS! she's working at The Black Sheep deli+cafe, an adorable little place that's a 15 minute walk from our apartment) should help me find something more regular, though. Free time has been spent relaxing and playing Super Mario Galaxy, or spending time with great friends. ♥

This past weekend saw a visit to Rhode Island and some of my absolute favorite humans. There are no words for how much love I have for tsunami, orgato2, knightvision, auguris and Steve. There was a distinct amphitrite-shaped hole in this weekend, but I look forward to a time we can all be together on one coast. It'll happen, someday. ♥

We went to Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire yesterday and it was wonderful! In this picture: everyone just before getting soaked as hell on the Boston Tea Party flume ride.

Life's been really interesting lately. Full of change and ups and downs and new things and shifts in the way I see things and... yeah. Tomorrow will mark one month that Ame's been with me on the east coast. It feels like so much longer and so much shorter all at once, but things are still wonderful.

OOPS GAY SORRY I should sell my forehead as advertising space;;;;;

I have so much drawing homework to do between now and my class at 7. Someone remind me why I am taking a three hour drawing class that starts at 7. B|
