oh my god so I'm in class right now, right. and i'm having this completely logical thought process because, as you'll remember, I have not slept.
I've had difficulty sleeping recently. I've been spending so much time online that when I go to bed, my eyeballs don't sit still. They flick around and won't calm down and in addition to wearing a sleep mask I have to cover my eyes with my hands so I can try and calm my involuntarily spazzing out eyeballs. it's particularly terrible on nights I already have migraines because my migraines are really vision-affected so my eyes moving around a lot FEELS AWFUL. it's the fucking weirdest thing but i'm like 100% sure it's from staring at my computer for too long.
but now get this
my computer has been having difficult sleeping recently. I'll close it for the night and then 20 minutes later, it'll come out of sleep and make that "CH-CHK" noise of a Mac being stirred from sleep but the laptop's still closed. then it'll go back to sleep and the light on the latch would start "breathing" again. and then five minutes later it'll wake up AGAIN and the fall asleep again. rinse and repeat until I get sick of it keeping me awake and shut it down entirely, which I don't usually have a need to do.
but wait, completely logical thought
what if this is happening to my computer because it's been staring at me for too long

WHAT IF
myself and my computer have actually fused into one entity and we now feed off of each others' life forces!!! WHEN IT'S BATTERY IS LOW, I GROW TIRED. WHEN I HUNGER, IT DESIRES UPDATES. WHEN ONE OF US HAS DISTURBED SLEEP, WE BOTH HAVE DISTURBED SLEEP. AAAAAHHHHH FML I'm going to reach into my computer on a rainy night at midnight, guys
have I mentioned I have not slept
I'm going to make a point to spend as much time outside and not at my goddamn computer over spring break
holy fucking someone in my class just made a fucking Naruto reference I'm going to go on a murderous rampage

edit there are half a dozen attractive women in suits (etc.) in the six tabs to the left of this one and it's taking all of my self-control not to just click on a rotation of those tabs for the next 16 minutes...
