Yaaay this works out so well! Katherine is getting married on August 23rd. I was prepared to skip Otakon or Disney if necessary, but it looks like I won't have to skip either!
I admit, the whole thing is still bogglin' my mind. My middle school best friend.. my Katze.. the Shuichi to my Ryuichi.. ahhhh I can't even think about it without tearing up. I'm so happy for her, but it's still more than I can wrap my head around. I remember so clearly the day we met, slumberparties and long phonecalls, the day she moved away.. when did we stop being those awkward little girls and grow up? I still don't feel like I have yet, haha. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have known about Gravitation or Jrock or cosplay or cons or BJDs or any of the multitude of things she has LONG outgrown that I am still way too into, ahaha. But even without all those things, she's still one of my absolute best friends even if life has made it hard for us to be as close as we used to be. I'm so glad we're still a part of each others' lives. ♥
In a fit of extreme nostalgia and vaggery, I dipped into my old external harddrive to find pictures from my old PC.. and I definitely found pictures Mom took of us from the day Katze moved away from Ridgewood, right after 9th grade.
I'd like to bring your attention to several things, such as my Very Hot Topic t-shirt, the gross leftover bleached bits of my hair where I once had blue streaks, and my WWF bag featuring pins of Disney's Robin Hood and things like "much hornier than I look." God I was cool back then. Also, Katze's Duel Jewel shirt. What a little Jrocker. <3
KAWAII V. This was when she and I both thought we looked as cool in baggy clothing as our friends Kaitlin and Miranda (who, worth nothing, had breasts that actually filled in their baggy clothing) did. Edit AHAHA ALSO WALLET CHAIN HAHAHA I FORGOT ABOUT THAT WOW

This was a Rocky Horror thing we did all the time. Elbow sex, olol. Also, this is why I will never have long hair again! And lol, this is also why my forehead got me made fun of in middle school.

Aaaah I'm such a vag. ♥ I love my friends and the memories I've shared with them more than anything. I love.. loving. [tangent, brace for impact.] I love being as filled with love as I am, for my friends and my family and my animals and for memories and music and complete strangers and simple little things.. I think my capacity to love.. I don't mean being in love because that's completely different, but just to love is one of my strongest qualities, even if being as sensitive and emotional as I am has to do with many of my flaws.
If I ever say I love you, I mean it. I use it frequently, but I don't fuck around with that word. Just because I say it to a ton of people doesn't mean I say it to just anyone. There just happen to be a multitude of people I absolutely adore, and if I've ever told you that I love you, you're one of them.
