A wonderful evening! Grilled cheesing, then hookah-ing and s'moresing and Pete & Pete-ing with Ivana. ♥ Also I discovered that Ivana, Gabby and myself all have Wednesdays off from work/school/etc., and as Gabby proposed, Wednesday will henceforth be known as Friendnesday. I love us.
Also HOLY CRAP my birthday is in less than two weeks. (the 10th.) You guys should.. send me home-made cards or something. I'll post my address at some point later maybe. Anyway hopefully I'll be able to spend my birthday with Gabby and Ivana and then add Allie into the mix for an Architecture in Helsinki concert on the 11th! This will be a good birthday to make up for my poopy one last year. :3
I was thinking about how MangaNext is right around the corner today and for some reason that reminded me that it means Cole/blindkijin and Janice/ragamuffinz will have been dating for nearly a year, and this makes me smile and I'm not entirely sure why. Hee.
Also tonight I remembered how at work today, some kooky and possibly tipsy middle-aged lady and her friend came in after having some cocktails at the office, apparently.. they were ridiculous and hilarious. The one lady took a deep whiff of our Apple Cider soap and exclaimed "OH GOD I haven't been this high since 1968! And trust me, I went to Amsterdam, I was the posterchild for that generation." Becca and I pretty much died. She was a little adorable. Oh, humans.
Large-scale Goals
- get a job
- get my driver's license (prerequisites: call Behind the Wheel guy, take Behind the Wheel, take driver's test..)
- get my motorcycle license (prerequisites: get driver's license, get... Vespa. >_>)
- find a new school (prerequisites: find college counselor, find schools to look at, look at schools, apply..)
- get my room the way I want it (prerequisites: stop being a lazy fuck whenever I'm home)
- scar removal therapy (goal: sometime before Katsucon)
Small-scale Goals
- finish making plans for YCon
- inform boss of dates I'm traveling
- get Architecture in Helsinki tickets
- call pharmacist for new inhaler
- call allergist and set up appointment*
- call Behind the Wheel dude and schedule hours*
- go to the post office and mail shit finally
- draw for poke_arts
- update my Pokémon sales post, begin selling My Little Ponies and anime crap, sell Kaishou
- burn Gankutsuou for amphitrite (I remembered this tonight >_>)
- get a haircut*
- finish my Toboe costume and Kayla's Hige costume for MangaNext
- make Ash for Halloween/YCon
- make Ritsuka for YCon
- finally make summer photo posts
- if you can think of anything else I've been meaning/needing to do, please feel free to remind me. D8
Sry for posting a lot, I just had an assortment of thoughts from earlier I needed to get down.
Okay. Shower now, work tomorrow, funtimes this weekend, working like four days next week (oy vey) and somehow managing to finish cosplays during that week anyway, then ManginaNext. BUSY MONTH IS SO BUSY.
Edit - a few thoughts I forgot but want to remember:
- fuck I forgot the first one I love people who love people. Nothing makes my day like friendly, sociable (in non-creepy ways) strangers.
- I'm probably not going to come out to my coworkers any time soon. My policy is that it's only necessary when it's relevant (which it isn't) and I'm comfortable (which I'm not.) So.. lol.
- oh god I need to stop finding things I want to cosplay but jesus lord a Devil May Cry 4 group with Dante!Cole and Nero!Nick and Trish!Krystal and Lady!Me for NYAF huffffffhfhhfh boners. :
