Saw Allie and Ivana and Caitlin and Gabby tonight and it was wonderful. We went to the house that Ivana's been housesitting for the past couple weeks and watched James Bond: Dr No and I played excessively with their dog, Marney. And obv I took pictures, because she was a qt and I am a doggy nerd.
Marney is a serious qt. We snuggled while we watched Dr No. I haven't had a chance to just cuddle and hang out with a dog since Cody died. She's no Cody, but it was nice.
When she lies down, her back legs look like turkey drumsticks. ♥

Sooo yeah, that happened.
Oh, possible development on the employment front. Although it's done, I haven't sent in my Biscuits & Bath application yet, and I think I might wait a little longer. Today Anton told me about a new store that just opened up downtown called Brain Candy. It's a classy little toy/collectibles store with like, vinyl toys and Japanese things as well as some artsy kids' books and a bit of kids' clothing. I stopped in tonight and randomly asked if they'd be needing any help once they open for reals, since they're just sort of doing a test opening right now. The owner is adorable and really nice, her name is Svetlana. It appears to be her and another guy, who also seems nice. I gave her my name and number and told her I could work full-time if she needed me. She asked if I had any retail experience, I told her none but the Renn Faire. I think that's the only thing she's hesitant about, because she said that she liked my style and that I was very personable. :D Ugh, the woes of a first job. Everyone wants you to have work experience, but if no one will hire you, there's no way to get work experience! Well, here's hoping. I'm going to keep stopping in to make my presence known and we'll see what happens in the next week or two. If it's not looking so good, I'll send in my app to B&B. Who knows. As much as I'd love to work with the puppies, I think the commute every day might destroy me and working downtown is very appealing. We'll see!
And oh lordy, when I have money.. I swear, I'm saving up for this baby. She'll be mine someday. If I can even find a Vespa dealer around here that carries the yellow LX50 model.
..In the meantime, Pokémon. pkmncollectors has inspired me to break out the box containing my old Pokémon collection that used to occupy my entire closet, from 1998 to 2002. It is EPIC. I think I'll sell most of it in the community, in favor of working on my own collections. Which are specifically Growlithe, Drifloon and Munchlax (plus Pikachu and Mew?).. though I'm thinking of expanding to anything Pokémon and canine (i.e. legendary dogs, Eevee evolutions, the three dog pairs, Vulpix+Ninetails, etc) anddd.. yeah, basically I'm a huge nerd. I'm pretty sure I'll never stop loving Pokémon. ♥
Too much to do tomorrow! Gotta register for driving classes finally, gotta go to the post office, gotta do laundry for faire, gotta meet up with Allie and pop into Brain Candy again.. and I imagine my evening will be concluding with a trip up to faire. Which I forgot about and is poo because I want to see futachan. Oy vey. Sleep is necessary now, tomorrow is going to come too early.
