LETTER: To Everyone Back Home

Hope you are all well. Since I wrote last, a lots has happened. I mentioned that I was considering joining the tithe train to the Weyr, and maybe working there. I know you weren't thrilled with the idea, mother, but I made the decision anyway. There really wasn't anything for me in Tillek.
Looks like it was the right choice. When I got there, I got work as a Handyman, which was good. Liked it a lot. Only did it for a little while, though, because I got myself searched for the clutch on the sands. Hope you'll try and make it for the hatching. A real first for us, I bet: a dragonrider in the family! Supposedly, the hatching'll be in maybe another month or two?
Anyway, hope things are all fine, and that at that trouble at Tillek hasn't impacted you.
