I'll just keep moving on...
Another weekend passes by, this time I actually did something! Wow, hooray and yippy for not working weekends. Friday night, met with a few friends at Trout down the road where we had a few drinks after work, which was followed shortly by dinner there, and soon after a short walk to my house where the drinking continued. Beer turned into wine, pub turned into my place, and bar turned into my deck. A smooth transition in the night's occurences. Nothing much really noteworthy happened there so I wont bore you with the details.
Saturday, missioned over to James' house for a BBQ - now it wasn't particularly good BBQ weather, but fun never the less. Alcohol was ingested, meat was chewed, and stomachs were stretched. Late afternoon I was feeling pretty sleepy, so switched to drinking water, before I knew it, it was about 8:30ish and I'd received a message instructing me to go out. I figured I'd get over my sleepiness once I got some lively company around me - and this was going to end up coming true. Met up with Pat and Danno around middnight-ish, they picked me up from my place and finally over to Pat's house, and then on to Halo. 1am rolled over and we were inside. A huge Trance night, some beverages, some drugs (oops), and a long night was ahead of us. Danced for a lot of the night, taking the odd break for some fresh air as Halo is fairly smokey and sweaty at the best of times. Left there about 7:00am, headed home where I slept til 5pm. Up for a few hours, and I started watching Layer Cake (think Snatch, Lock Stock...) but tiredness overwhelmed me and forced my eyes shut and my consciousnses away for a few hours. 1am and I woke, and headed off to bed and slept through til 8:30 this morning, leaving me little time to get up and make it to work. Only 20 minutes late!
I deserve a medal. Someone, anyone... buy me a medal.
And in other news, my phone decided to shit itself, freeze it, stick it back up it's a-hole, shit it back out, rinse, and repeat. I can get as far as turning it on, but they keys aren't working to the point where I can't enter my pin to get past the SIM lock. Shitta. I've found my new phone already, but they're not out yet. It's my bday in < 4 weeks so I'd better start begging.
