PAX 2007 ended with a bang of our right front tire's sidewall blowing out on the express lanes of I-90 to Mercer Island. Fortunately, the rest of the weekend was completely amazing.
It was simply a weekend of great fun. Hours of boardgames, some fun panel discussions, a crushing defeat in the Battlefield 2 tournament, and loads of gaming geeks just having a blast. Wil Wheaton delivering the keynote was really very interesting. Following that up with
Jerry and Mike's crazy antics and a Q&A with Uwe Boll was also amazing.
There was definitely not enough time to do everything that I wanted to do. But I still did a ton of stuff including getting murdered by my wife as an 8-year old avatar of an Evil Plant. Betrayal at House on the Hill is a lot of fun, while not being too long.
Tide of Iron, a WWII board/miniatures game, is incredible. I thought about picking up my own copy. Takes a long time, though ...
Anyway, these thoughts are pretty disjointed. PAX was awesome.
