"After all this time?" "Always."
As I write again after such a long time, an advertisement is blinking merrily beside me, telling me that Harry Potter seven will be oun on October 27th and I can't decide if I should laugh or cry.. Laugh because Carlsen (and many deluded readers) chose the ugliest cover possible for the german edition and cry because I know.
The weekend in London was soooo great! We met so many cool people from all over the world while standing in line and waiting for midnight at Waterstone's, Piccadilly and, hell, it was worth it.... Aside from the usual catastrophes me and Lena encounter/inspire whenever we are somewhere (the incident with the umbrella in Hyde Park...XXXDDD) it was awesome, in capital letters AWESOME!!!!!
And damn, we were sooooooo right! We could've written whole parts of the books ourselves!!! How cool... Although I admit that there were some things I did not like that much, all over it was what is calles a würdiger Abschluss! I won't talk about details though, weil der Sebbo könnte den Eintrag lesen und dann doch soviel verstehen, dass er gespoilert wird!!! But I cried so much and I already wrote Mails to the people who've read it,m too (those I did not meet yet, after the release) and wow, there's still so much to discuss, although I feared there'd be no more to talk about after book 7.
To change topic...
Right now I'm enjoying my last week of Praktikum in the local library and I was able to organize a Scotland-motto-table!!! It's really cool with a flying bagpipe and the flag and a pot of haggis, and sheep and glenfiddich *hick*...Got some photos...I'd like to spend more time there and I think I'll try and ask if I can stay for another 3 weeks *g*... Yeah, I'm as obsessed as it seems... But the people are just so nice! I like em all!
But, whenever I hear Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't fear the Reaper" I want to curl up and cry!!!! I put it in repeat mode when I read book seven and it so stuck with me.... But it's the same with Mika's "Happy Ending"... Think of the main pairing and listen to it....gosh....
But, I gotta finish... I want to write so much more...But for now that'll do I think.
Oh, greetings to the Scotsman at the airport! We know the end! Thanx for not spilling the news! *g*
